Guidelines for Re-Homing an Adult Dog:
If you are interested in an adult, please note you will need to come here to meet the adults to make sure it is a good fit for you and for them! I do not ship puppies or adults, or go through third party placements. Prices for adults range from $3,000 to $3,500 plus 8.25% Texas Sales Tax, which includes spaying/neutering.
Dachshunds/ Dogs do not come with any registration. You cannot re-home, sell, or give away the dachshunds or place the dog in any other home or organization. You must call me and return the dog to me. I will refund if you need to return the dog. These dogs will live an average of 15 - 18 years. This is a serious life-long commitment when purchasing one of our dachshunds, so plan accordingly to care for them for many years. Dogs are such an important part of our lives. We live to honor the love and joy they bring to our lives.
If you are getting your first pet, you should be looking for a vet as if you were having a child and looking for a pediatrician. I do not place my puppies/adults in homes with children under the age of four, homes with known to be aggressive breeds, or to residents of Australia, Hawaii, or Asia. The paperwork and quarantine is too difficult.
